Mountain biking plateau Bedes

It begins in the parking lot of the Church Jouques. The difficulty lies in blue type (average), you travel 23 km shared between the road and trails in the heart of the forest. The minimum altitude is 250 meters to go up to 519 m.

The main difficulty is set path, the trail follows the ridge separating the common Jouques and St. Paul this trail climbs steep switchbacks and rocky for about 1km.

The hike from the mountain of rock climbing Concors

Concors The massif is located 8 km as the crow flies from the Montagne Sainte-Victoire. The walk you shoed dévouvrir the small chapel of St. Consorce but also suberbe paysagex: Plain Venelle, the magnificent castle of the Grand Sambuc. One can also perceive the Alpilles, the Etang de Berre, Aqueduct Roquefavour ... The pleasure of the eyes is the RDV!

The hike is starting from the parking Taulisson. Since
Vauvenargues parking is located on the D11, 4 km from Castle Taulisson on the left, at a place called the Great Vine. Since
Jouques, head of Vauvenargues on the D11, then just park at the entrance to the Field Departmental Taulisson on the right.

The walk takes about 4 hours and length of 8km, follow the yellow markings Pr.

The rock of Consolation is a small rocky ridge which offers a beautiful view over the valley of the Durance and the mountain Luberon. This rock is located in the town of Jouques. The escalation is not in easy. The climb is ideal in the winter because the 3 / 4 of the cliff faces south. More access to the cliff is prohibited in the summer for good reason: the risk of fire.

The cliff is located between 15 m and 25 m with a rock is limestone.

Access: 20 km northeast of Aix-en-Provence, along the N96. From Aix take the N96 towards Manosque. The trail access is on the right between the village and Peyrolles Pont de Mirabeau (4kilometres in the two villages). Park on the aisle next to a guardrail. The trail is steep, 10 minutes ago in approach.
